Spectrum Sharing and Power Allocation Analysis in Machine to Machine Network

چکیده

Abstract This paper addresses the problem of spectrum sharing and power allocation in M2M network, in which a licensee and multiple unlicensed M2M devices coexist and operate in the licensed channel in a local area. We develop a connectivity establishment mechanism in M2M network based on the cognitive radio technology, and derive the overall average probabilities of detection and false alarm by taking the location of M2M devices into account and employing the energy detection as the underlying detection scheme. Furthermore, we also propose an optimal power allocation scheme in the M2M network which holds the characteristics of achieving the maximum system utility and satisfying the QoS requirement of M2M devices and interference constrains of PU. The simulation results show that the proposed schemes achieve better performance.
